Rob Anthony Dire knew music was in his soul when he began playing piano at age 5.  His mother is a classically trained vocalist and pianist.  She performed in many operas while pregnant for him - so he literally was born into music.  Rob then added more skills to his passion when he picked up a guitar and bass at age 14 and taught himself as well as singing all of his life since he was very young.  He used to sing into a micro-cassette recorder, he was destined to be a star.  He wrote his first song at age 16 and almost won a record deal in 2000 with "Come to Life."  He later learned how to play drums after his first band split up.  After being in several bands in Boston area, he decided to go solo. He built up his own home studio a decade ago and has been producing, mixing and creating his own music on his own.

His debut album, "Grandeur Of Delusions" is a culmination of singer/songwriter/musician body of work over the last several years. What was meant to be released as his first solo album took a forced hiatus as he lost his right eardrum and majority of hearing on that side. Seven reconstructive surgeries later, he was finally able to produce, mix and trust his hearing again.

Upon the release of his album, Rob decided finally to give in and succumb to the Twitter craze, which led him into the world of BlogTalkRadio hosting, something he discovered he enjoys almost as much as making music.
