Manny “Emanuel” De’Anda was born in Pittsburgh, P.A. to a Mexican father Lupe de Anda and African American Mother, Barbara Joyce Burch. Raised in the great city of Pittsburgh, Emanuel’s singing career started off in a group called Crave, where the members met singing in the choir together at WestingHouse High School, where he also starred on the school’s Football and Wrestling teams. With the help of Meanstreet Entertainment founder Big D, Crave had three #1 singles at local radio station WAMO 106.7, "7 & Up", "Real Chick" and "Ask For It By Name". Along with former bandmates Maurice "Hollywood" Walker and Mandell "The Jonezes" Loman” Crave helped headline the WAMO 106.7 Summer Jam with platinum-selling artists like Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy in 2007, Crave earned the key to the city and that day was declared Crave and Meanstreet Entertainment Day in the city of Pittsburgh, according to a proclamation by Mayor Luke Ravenstahl. Recognizing the band’s success and charity work with The Creative Corner, American Red Cross and a Hurricane Katrina benefit. After completing a tour with Bluestar Entertainment recording group Pretty Ricky, Emanuel signed with Pretty Ricky and Bluestar Entertainment in the summer of 2008 where he performed under the moniker “Lingerie”. During this period, Emanuel made 6 appearances on BET's 106 & Park; single: Tipsy In This Club peaked at #6 on 106 & Park Top 10 Countdown and #38 on the Billboard Charts independently as well as appearing on the Monique Show. Emanuel has performed in shows from the south to the west coast to the east coast, Canada and abroad. Knocking Your Heels Off video with R&B legends H Town and Jodeci has received more than 22 million views on www.worldstarhiphop.com. Emanuel has also done songs with other big names in the industry such as KeKe Wyatt, Snoop Dogg, Trick Daddy.
