In looking at the 10 Commandments of YAHUAH we find they are very much to be observed today by those who profess to believe in HIM and have a relationship with HIM through HIS SON...King YAHUSHA HA'MASCHIACH.

In Ex 20:8-11 we find the 4th of the 10 Commandments that
were hand written by YAHUAH ELOHIYM of YASHARA'EL and were given to Moshe
to teach the children of YASHARA'EL HIS Commandment. Deuteronomy 4:4-9/Deut 6:4-9,
The Day of Shabbat is commanded to be honored as a perpetual covenant as a Sign between YAHUAH and the Children of YASHARA'EL.

Exodus 31:13-17
Speak thou also unto the children of YASHARA'EL, saying, Verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep:
for it is a Sign between ME and you throughout your generations;
that ye may know that I AM YAHUAH that doth sanctify you

Ye shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you
every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein,
that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to YAHUAH:
whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death

Wherefore the children of YASHARA'EL shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between ME and the children of YASHARA'EL for ever: for in six days YAHUAH made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day HE rested, and was refreshed

Gen 2:1-3 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made
