James was on the ballot for State House Representative in Georgia during the 2016 election cycle. As our guest on The LaKesha Womack Show, he will share tips that he learned from his run and provide advice for others interested in running for a political office.

James is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Religious Studies. He also is a 6 year veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as an Intelligence Analyst out of North Charleston, SC. 

Woodall is a fully-paid Silver Life Member of the NAACP and has experience in leading in both social justice and civic organizations. He served as the Georgia NAACP Youth & College State President before assuming his current role as Bulloch County NAACP Vice President. He also had the distinct pleasure of serving the Georgia Southern campus community as a three-year Student Government Senator, At-Large. He ran for State Representative [GA-HD160] in 2016 as well as was elected to the Democratic Party of Georgia’s State Committee, amongst several other roles.
