Welcome Everyone!  The Bhagavad Gita is an ancient text which is 700 verses long.  It is a dialogue between a man, Arjuna, and his friend, spiritual teacher, Sri Krishna. Arjuna is seeking to do the right thing as he is about to enter a battle that could result in the loss of many people dear to him.  So, he is deeply seeking the way to live rightly.  He is seeking guidance as to how to live rightly.  You could say that Sri Krishna is actually the force of Love that dwells within our consciousness.  Although, the story, the Gita is about what Arjuna should do in battle, each of us face such a battle within us on a daily basis.  And this is the real beauty of the Gita.  The Truths that Arjuna comes to know are the same Truths we all seek about life and living.

On a personal note, I was drawn to the Gita over 20  years ago.  I've read and studies many versions of it over the years.  For the next 40 days I am going to be reading the first six chapters of the Gita and reflecting on them from time to time on this program.  I have inspired to do this by Andrew Harvey who has an upcoming program inviting people to study a spiritual text morning and evening.  I will read the Gita in the morning and reflect on it during meditation.  This is a powerful way to allow insights about the passage to be revealed to you.

I'll be reflecting on the passages and insights here on this program.  This is a time of great challenge on the planet.  Such reflection allows us to see deeper truth which just may have an impact on the way we respond to a situation.  Each person truly makes a difference.  Together we are creating the path forward.   I invite you to join me on this journey and read the Gita or another spiritual book of your choice and reflect daily on how to live rightly at this time on the Earth.
