Hybrid Jazz - w/Arun Shenoy & Matthew Shell!

Based in Singapore, producer/composer Arun Shenoy has made quite an impact world-wide.  First, he was nominated for a Grammy this past year for his work on "Rumbadoodle."  The category was "Best Pop Instrumental" - and there were heavy hitters vying with him: Larry Carlton, Norman Brown, Dave Koz, Gerald Albright and Chris Botti - who won the Award.  But don't tell that to the people of Arun's adopted country :)  Let's explore that impact further.  This multi-talent also has a head for business and a big heart.  Arun Shenoy Publishing works with "sister concern", Narked Records, to faciliate the careers of those who come into the fold.  Arun runs his enterprise with a shrewd eye on all sorts of talent.  And you have the assurance of knowing that purchases via his website go directly to charity.  Milaap.org is the recipient: a mircro-finance organization that educates and empowers the underprivileged in India, Arun's home country. 

We have welcomed Matthew Shell two times - the third is the charm!  Matthew and Arun have worked together to create a very special project.  "Genesis" is the name of the single that is their collaboration.  With Ian Cameron on violin and guests artists that span the globe, this breathtaking "HYBRID" instrumental soars!  And it showcases the promise of what's to come regarding our producer/sound engineer's highly anticipated project, "Victorious", coming this Summer!  Matthew has worked with a myriad of artists from different backgrounds - so coming together with Arun was as organic as any endeavor they could have dreamed.
