Ride or Die

Today on Behind the Blue Curtain we are going to discuss the question nobody seems to be asking.  “Where Did Everybody Go?”  People often say they are Ride or Die but it seems like when the journey is police reform, a lot of folks prefer to take their own car.  We will have a Guest for the first half of the show.  Retired Waco Police Sergeant John Allovio will be joining us to talk about a remarkable program he started in Waco Texas that addressed both crime and helping the homeless.  I have known and worked with John throughout his entire career.  We worked some of the toughest areas in Waco during the 90s where all Officers were given a street nickname.  I will let John tell you all that story.  John was respected and well known in many of the toughest neighborhoods in the City of Waco.  His street smarts and ability to communicate with the citizens there will no doubt be missed.  If you would like to chime in with a question or comment, as always the call-in number is (646) 716-4621, then press 1 when you hear the show so I know you would like to speak.  See you all in the morning.
