BULLYING: PROTECTING CHILDREN AGAINST SOCIAL VIOLENCE

Investigative Journalist Suzanne Marcus Fletcher interviews acclaimed author, Laura Ramirez, on all aspects of juvenile bullying.  The Host will be doing a series on this topic, and will begin with defining bullying, before moving into why certain kids resort to violence (verbal, physical, psychological, written, etc) to control and/or harm their peers. Also covered will be the typical profile of those who bully others.

In the first episode, Fletcher and Ramirez will be discussing what we are doing as a society that fosters children to want to  “win at all  costs,” be “the best” at everything, and garner the most external symbols of power at the expense of others.
