Anchor/Journalist/Host, Suzanne Marcus Fletcher, interviews Chase “Iron Eyes” of “Last Real Indians” and the Oceti Sakowin (Great Sioux Nation ) who advocated to save, and return to the Great Sioux, nearly 2,000 privately owned acres: a sacred swath of earth known simply as Pe’ Sla.  A mere 9 million was required to purchase Pe’ Sla and return it to its true owners within a four month time-slot (Nov. 30 2012). Without this victory, Pe' Sla would have permanently been lost to land developers. The Sioux Nation raised the requisite 9M from their own indigenous, and non-indigenous, peoples and organizations of every creed and color worldwide. The following text is wholly credited to the Shakopee Sioux Community press release of 11/30/12...."The Rosebud Sioux, Crow Creek Sioux, and the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community gathered in a historic assembly of related Tribes to reacquire the sacred site, Pe Sla.  Pe Sla is sacred because it is related to the Lakota Creation. Today, the reacquisition is a healing and historic event for the Lakota, Dakota and Nakota people....”

Pe’ Sla remains a critical power-spot and ceremonial grounds where worshipping the Land and its celestial connections are the very “Heart Of All That Is.”
