Today's guests are Maia Crown Williams, founder and organizer of MECCACon, the Midwest Ethnic Convention for Comics and Arts, and three of the authors participating in the convention, Leah Vernon author of Impure, Kenya Moss-Dyme author of Daymares, and Zig Zag Claybourne author of The Brother's Jetstream.

Maia Crown Williams has produced MECCACon in Detroit for three years, bringing widespread attention the comic industry from an ethnic perspective. More than just a comics convention, it is a culturally diverse comic and art experience with panel discussions, workshops and an international film festival.

The three authors joining us will be featured in an evening of book signings on Spet. 14 at Source Booksellers, and we'll discuss their books.
