Making people laugh has been natural throughout Corey’s life, however, his comedic ascension did not begin until 1992 at All Jokes Aside where he performed stand up comedy weekly for two years until the club’s closure. In 1998, Corey further developed his skill set as a comedic host for the Midwest Regional Music Association’s RCA New Artist Showcase. That same year, Mr. Bailey received the opportunity to work with Bernie Mac at Club Milt Trainers.

From 1999-2001 Corey was one of the stand-up artists/co-hosts for Marcus Brown Annual Benefit, this opportunity gave him even more exposure to additional household entertainment names such as Katt Williams, Joe, Public Announcement, and Ruff Ends.

In addition to stand up comedy and hosting, Corey is also making waves in the world acting. He has been privileged to be featured on film in episodes of The Chicago Code (February 2011), Little Fockers alongside Robert DeNiro and Ben Stiller (December 2010), and Verizon Wireless’ How Sweet the Sound promotionalcommercial. CoreyisnostrangertotheatereitherhestarredinShawnHenderson’s Raised By Big Mama, has an upcoming tour with Barry Bowles’ Friends with Benefits and is currently cast in Shywanee Manson’s, My Sista, I’m Sorry as supporting lead, Rudy, set to debut in January 2011.

Corey continues to be a strong force in the comedy arena catering to several prestigious events such as The Chicagoland Radio Announcers Guild and The Academy of Criminology, church functions, hosting plays, various showcases, parties, and sitting in as a guest host on multiple radio shows in the Chicago listening area.

Corey is excited about the doors God is opening in his life for this season and he is dedicated to letting the world know who he is and whose he is by sharing his life experiences through clean comedy and acting.
