Who will supply our needs: God vs. Gov't

As believers of Jesus Christ, we are continually hearing about laws, government and political issues around Pres. Obama views on same sex marriage, health care, and employment/education. Moreover, most believers are suddenly referring to the Word of God as their justification to voting rights, and possibly not choosing our current president because of the same sex marriage issue. Let's also talk about our needs, too many are relying on SSI, unemployment, and other government benefits instead of turning to GOD and His Word/promises. We cannot go one way and not be the same way on all things according to the Word of GOD.
