"Adam wanted to give Eve the world. Eve tempted him with the forbidden fruit. Eve was born with a loving companion while Adan had to work to get his reward. SHe knew she had absolute power over him. Adam loved his Father but he loved Eve as well. Adam was faced with a moral dilemma. He didn't want to disobey his Father that created him, but he didn't want to distance himself from his only true love. Fearing he would be alone for all eternity, he took a big bite of that juicy fruit." --Nameless by Kyle Chais, p. 199, first line paraphrased.

I wonder if we are still dealing with this dilemma today. You are afraid of being alone and willing to do whatever it takes to remain in that relationship regardless of the cruelty, brutality caused by your partner, or evil words shared among you both--just to have a person, or someone in your life. Do women want to overpower or rule over their male counterparts?
