On this week’s The Farm radio talk show on the Overthrow Radio Network, host Chris Petherick will discuss the latest news on so-called ag-gag legislation that has been sweeping the country state by state.

Ag-gag bills are proposed laws that seek to criminalize whistleblowers who expose animal cruelty at farms. Two animal-rights organizations filed lawsuits against two states, Utah and Idaho, and in late July a federal court ruled Idaho’s ag-gag law is unconstitutional. The groups are doing America a favor by exposing awful conditions at many factory farms, but is this their only agenda? Are they really just content with stopping cruelty, or is there ultimate goal to end all consumption of meat?

Tune in live this Friday morning, Aug. 14, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET or download the MP3 in our archives section.
