Black Women - Do You Really Need to be Married?

The past few weeks there has been heavy media attention placed on the woes of educated, professional Black women and what these Sista's need to do to "get a man." Nightline featured a panel discussion moderated by Steve Harvey, with Hill Harper, Sherry Shepherd and a host of other people have all shared their thoughts and opinions on what Black women need to do differently to entice a man to marry. Let's talk about the issue of marriage, the pros and cons for Black women, and whether it is realistic and appropriate to demand that Black women "lower their expectations" or "get with a man for his potential" in order to have a husband.
