Global Astronomy Month is a worldwide celebration of astronomy that is coordinated by Astronomers Without Borders. This episode I'll be discussing all of the events for 2013, their specific dates, and how to find local events in your area.

For more information on AWB or GAM, please visit http://astronomerswithoutborders.org/global-astronomy-month-2013.html

Next, for our equipment showcase, I'll share my initial impressions of the inexpensive Zhumell 8-24mm Zoom Eyepiece. I have owned this eyepiece for a few months now, and although I haven't had a whole lot of opportunities to observe (weather, life, etc), I'll give you my opinion on whether this inexpensive eyepiece is a solid performer or not.

All of this and a whole lot more on this episode of At The Eyepiece.
