Liane Moonraven started writing stories at a young age and was strongly encouraged by a college professor who encouraged her to pursue “natural gift for story-telling,” which she did while also becoming an on-air radio personality. Moonraven published her first award-winning novel, The Broken Sword, in 2012 and followed up with several other short stories and novellas. Over the years, Liane continued to hone and polish her skills by joining various writing groups and competitions. By 2015, Liane had written her first full feature film script, Achilles – The Hit, an urban crime drama. Also that year, Moonraven created The Carmen Online Theater Group, an online audio theater group, where she is Writer, Director and Executive Producer. The Carmen Group is home to The Burbs, an all original series that is based on true events she experienced while living a certain suburb for ten years. In 2016, Liane traveled twice to the West Midlands in the U.K., to film “Paper Angels,” a psychological thriller she wrote and produced, scheduled for release in Fall 2017. Liane is hugely influenced and inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, Alfred Hitchcock, Bram Stoker and Stephen King whom she calls her Dream Team.
