Season 2 of “Battling and Beating Cancer” kicks off in style with the “Lady Lymphoma Advocates.” We have three of the best blood cancer advocates on the planet to discuss issues, opportunities, and challenges confronting people impacted by lymphoma and other blood cancers.  The lady lymphoma advocates are: Betsy DeParry (author of “The Roller Coaster Chronicles” a book about her experience with non-Hodgkin lymphoma and prolific speaker and patient advocate), Liz Hart McMillan (a survivor of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, member of the board of directors of Patients Against Lymphoma, and tireless cancer advocate), and Charlene McMann-Seaman (our co-host).  We choose April 12, 2011 to kick off season 2 of Battling and Beating Cancer because it is Blood Cancer Awareness Day in Chicago. Blood cancer awareness and advocacy are the key words for this important episode.
