Tom Harness, Chief Information Officer (CIO) of "THE" destination and entertainment venue in Southern Illinois, Walker's Bluff, bring his insights to “The Dig”! This family man, married 7 years to “a very patient wife”, and father of “The Energizer Bunny” 6 year old daughter, is an inspired Heartland entrepreneur. Tom is a U.S. Army Signal (communications-electronics) veteran who served stateside and at remote assignments in South Korea and Saudi Arabia. And for nine years, he enjoyed life as a 5^th grade elementary school and technology teacher. Tom is a self-proclaimed “Apple Fanboy” who loves upgrading every 2 days and, from Crossroads Coffee house to music, his twitter addiction triggers lively observations for followers in this region.

Tom believes in the power of networking (people and machines), and his days are fortified with innovative ideas to help local businesses in deep southern Illinois.
