It is with great pleasure for CareGiverStory.com to interview The Rev. Dr. Mary Newbern-Williams Pastor of Cote Brilliante Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, Missouri.  As a pastor she will focus upon the spiritual aspects of end-of-life issues.

Mary Newbern-Williams is the Pastor of Cote Brilliante Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, Missouri.  She began this position January 1 2011.  Just prior to being called to Cote Brilliante, Mary served the General Presbyter for the Presbytery of John Calvin (JCP).  This Presbytery covers Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas.  She began her tenure with JCP on March 1, 2008, and in that capacity she was responsible for 56 congregations in the areas of being Pastor to Pastors, Congregational Transformation, Healthy Congregations Programs, and to consult with committees of the Presbytery on financial, church growth, new church development, and staffing supervision   throughout Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas.  Mary is a trained facilitator for the “Healthy Congregations” Program, developed and led by Dr. Peter Steinke and the Lutheran Brotherhood.  She has facilitated this program for several years.
