Kim Litzke has been practicing family law in Pennsylvania since 1994. Well versed in family law issues including divorce, custody, support, alimony and equitable distribution, she is "settlement oriented", endeavoring to minimize the trauma of the divorce to the family (particularly children). However, there are cases that cannot be resolved by agreement and in those instances Kim’s aggressive litigation skills serve her clients well. Kim recently became interested in a developing area of law in Pennsylvania - Parent Coordination. Parenting Coordination is a process by which an attorney or psychologist is appointed by the court to assist parents in resolving disputed child rearing issues. In 2007, Kim became the liaison between bench and bar to more fully develop procedures to expand and solidify the role of Parent Coordinators in the Bucks County courts. Kim frequently lectures throughout Pennsylvania to fellow family law attorneys. In 2007 Kim presented lectures at both the Winter and Summer meetings of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section and presented a lecture in Harrisburg on the litigation of high income child support cases. Kim also writes articles on important family law topics, including authoring a case note on Lowers v. Lowers, which was published in the Pennsylvania Family Lawyer in 2007.
