Anchored By Hope: Facing the "Firsts"

Hosted by Kristie Verret & Katy Larsen.  This week we are talking about facing the 'firsts' after a loss. Everyone expects the first anniversary to be difficult, but what about the simple firsts? What about the things no one knows? For me it was the first time I took a bath, and looked at my empty belly. Remembering how I used to hope to catch a glimpse of her shifting around in there. For a long time my life was defined by "before the baby died" and "after the baby died". During the latter, it was always difficult to face something for the first time.
