Purposed 4 Godliness - Word of Encouragement to Mother's "Honoring Mothers"

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! The enemy has always had it out for women. We see early on in Genesis, he sought to destroy her, and took great pleasure in leading her astray. When God sent the curse upon the entirety of creation, He made sure to state there would be enmity towards the woman and the serpent. Why was He so specific? Because women are powerful.

When God sent His only son, He didn’t do so with chariots and horses, but through a humble woman. All throughout the Bible, we see stories of women doing great and powerful things.

How do we become wise women

• First, a woman who is going to shake the walls of Hell must accept the responsibility that comes along with the task.
• Second, a woman who is going to be on the front lines of God’s army must be respectful. 
• And lastly, but most importantly, a woman who is to be greatly used by God must be one who has no sympathy for sin. 

Satan has always been afraid of women and for good cause. What power they hold! We celebrate Mother’s Day take time always, to reflect on those brave women who have gone before and have paved the way through strength and dignity.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate (Proverbs 31: 30-31 NKJV).
