Breast Cancer Awareness - Personal Testimony w/Cindy Kessler

Cindy Kessler was a young child of 4 years old when the Lord wrote His name upon her heart and placed a call on her life to live for Him alone. Always having a love for singing, she determined early on that her gifts would be used to bring Him glory and fame. Through the years God has opened many doors for her to minister in song, both in her local church and in other churches as well; but, never before has the call to be a worshiper been as deeply affirmed than when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009.  From the moment she received that unwelcome news the deep place of her song became deeper still ~ deepened by the Lord Himself as He began to teach her what it truly means to keep singing, to keep lifting the song of worship, even while the storm is raging.  

With the storm quieter these days, she seeks to fulfill the call He has placed on my heart ... for such a time as this ... to offer encouragement to the world around her, to proclaim that no matter what storm you find yourself in ... God is bigger and He is enough!

Cindy is a Charlotte, NC native but currently lives in Rock Hill, SC. She and her husband, Mark, have been married for 28 years ~ they have 3 sons, Brad, Cory, and Will. She is on staff at her local Church in Charlotte, NC as the Worship Arts Coordinator.
