Mike Markel is a writer and teacher who lives in Boise, Idaho.

He is now revising the sequel, Deviations: A Detectives Seagate and Miner Mystery.
In addition, he has written a number of short stories, which he is collecting under the dubious title Miserable Bastards. Whether this title refers to characters who are mostly miserable, mostly bastards, or some combination of the two--he'll leave that to you.
