Special Guest: Roc

Roc received their B.S. in Sports & Leisure Management from Eastern Connecticut State University where they were a student-athlete and received a M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa. Roc is a Powerlifter through Strong Life Tampa Bay and created Rooted Resistance LLC because they believe strength training can be used as a form of resistance to oppressive systems that often lead to financial barriers and access issues to fitness/restorative training, particularly for the lgbtq community. Roc is passionate about racial and gender justice and believes political education is critical to understanding the history of oppression, power, privilege, and how they all manifest systemically and culturally.  Visit their website to learn more www.RootedResistance.com.
