Since 2008, for people in the age bracket of 50-64 years old, the job less rate has more than doubled. We’re seeing older workers losing their jobs at a faster pace than younger ones are.
Older, maybe already retired workers are coming back into the workforce and looking for jobs and there aren’t a lot of jobs out there. It’s also looking like the economy will not be producing a whole lot of new jobs any time soon either.
