St. Catherine Dei Ricci – was placed in a convent at age 13 by her father where she received her education. At age 14 she went to another convent, the Dominican convent of San Vincenzo in Prato, Tuscany. By age 25 she had risen to the post of perpetual prioress. She is the patron saint against illness and was canonized in 1746.
