If you own a business, you have probably been to a networking event at some point. Whether you came back for more or binned the business cards that you couldn't even remember taking, you may even have wanted to set up one of your own, realising how well-attended and beneficial they can be. 

Join us with guest Liz Bygrave, who runs the successful Small Business Network in North London. Liz will tell us the keys of success to her networking groupand what's important to think about if you want to build your own.

Liz (being entirely unsuited to working for someone else) has been self-employed for 20 years. Her background is alternative health - massage and reflexology, and she also makes (and teaches workshops on) sugar, dairy and wheat free chocolate and sweet treats. In 2007, Liz set up Small Business Network (SBN) with two other local self-employed people - Dominique Meeroff and Tony Sephton - in order to support North London based businesses. Liz now runs SBN on her own - meetings are held once a month in Muswell Hill and attract a vibrant, diverse range of business men and women, and have a strong community feel.
