This week Dr. Elvira will speak with Pastor David Omorebokhae and his wife, Efe about their work in Nigeria to engage government representatives to improve health systems and work with youth and the faith community to combat HIV/AIDS.

David Omorebokhae is the Director of Advocacy and Management Information Systems  for the Christian Health Association of Nigeria. (CHAN). He has been working for CHAN since 2003.

Mr. Omorebokhae pioneered the advocacy, communication and social mobilization work of CHAN, setting up Advocacy structures across the vast land of Nigeria. Advocating for health resources with tremendous result for over 400 Mission Health Institutions and over 4,500 outposts and outreaches in the last ten years. Prior to this, David was head of Communications for Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria in Lagos.

Mr. Omorebokhae holds a B.Sc. in Sociology &Anthropology; PGD in Journalism; M.Sc.  in Public Relations, MBA(In view). He has attended many training and conferences in different parts of the world.

Mr. Omorebokhae is a prolific writer/author with numerous publications/books to his credit. He is also a pastor with The Redeemed Christian Church of God in Nigeria. He is married with four children.

Efe Omorebokhae is the Media Manager of Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS) in Nigeria, with Headquarters in Jos. She holds a B.A.Ed. and MA in English language. She is an expert in handling youth, women and children. She is married to David Omorebokhae. Together they have been reaching out to millions through broadcast and various publications.
