Who is teaching Black Children?

Dr. Steve Perry (born Stephen Perry) is an American Principal, Author, Coach, Speaker and Philanthropist. Perry is known for his speeches, conferences, education consultation and books: Man Up! Nobody is Coming to Save Us (published in May 1st, 2006) and Push Has Come To Shove.

Widely respected by grassroots community members and well renowned leaders, Dr. Steve Perry's charismatic and compelling voice is an inspiration. He is the educator upon whom Oprah Winfrey, Sean "P-Diddy" Combs, Bishop T. D. Jakes, and Steve Harvey call to offer insight to parents and children. 

Capital Prep Charter School in Harlem is the first time many parents learned of Sean PDiddy Combs and Dr Perry creating a school for Black youth in Harlem. We will discuss this school and the others Dr. Perry has opened.
