September 4: 'Bout That Football Action

Approaching the fall season means one very important thing, FOOTBALL, FOOTBAL, FOOTBALL. Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo go wall to wall FOOTBALL (yes, it's necessary to scream). A new season means excitement and hope for all teams...well except the Browns (wink). 

The Seattle Seahawks enter an NFL season as defending champions for the first time in franchise history. Even with how good they are, is it too tough to repeat? Your favorite sports genius' go division by division previewing the season and giving their thoughts on the impact players. Has San Francisco improved enough to reclaim the West or are the 49ers perhaps overrated? Is the addition of Julius Peppers going to cure the Packers defensive issues? Are the Bears really deserving of the "sexy pick" tag? Has Drew Brees and the Saints positioned themselves as head and shoulders above the rest of the South? And then there's the no one wins more than 9 games asinine NFC East!

Over in the AFC, will a weak overall conference allow teams like Cincinnati and San Diego to finally make a deep run? Will Peyton Manning and the Broncos take a step back? Does Ben Roethlisberger not get enough recognition for maksing the Steelers issues? No, he's not one of them. Is the AFC East tighter than people think? Denver again or could maybe this be Andrew Luck and Indianapolis Colts year?! 

It's not just the NFL that kicks off, college football is already underway. Did WVU prove anything with a close loss to Alabama? Is Florida State truly the best team? Can Kenny Hill AKA Kenny Football keep picking up where Johnny Manziel left off for Texas A&M? There's now a playoff. Mike tells the buffoons why this will still spark controversy.
