Karen Ramsey, ACC, SPHR is the President and CEO of Lead for Good, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals become great nonprofit leaders.  She has over 20 years of leadership experience which includes serving as VP of Human Resources for a Fortune 500 company, successfully running her own company for nine years, and chairing 16 boards of directors for various nonprofit organizations.  

A published author and national speaker, she is a graduate of The College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.  Karen also has a Masters of Science in Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University.  She is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a Certified Professional Coach (ACC), and holds credentials in Process Improvement and The Birkman Method.

In addition to facilitating a distance learning program providing coaching, mentoring and learning labs to nonprofit executives throughout the country, she also provides support to ASU's Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation in the areas of leadership and strategic planning.  She is currently serving as a faculty associate teaching High Impact Leadership as part of ASU’s Nonprofit Management Institute and her second book - Lead for Good Field Guide - will be published in 2013.
