He is recognized for his roles in White Men Can’t Jump (starring Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson), Conspiracy Theory (Julia Roberts and Mel Gibson), 16 Blocks (Bruce Willis and Mos Def), Eraser (Arnold Schwarzenegger and Vanessa Williams), Eagle Eye (Shia LeBeouf), and  other films.

For sure, Cylk Cozart has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry…but it’s his work behind the scenes which brings him the greatest pleasure. A man who has dedicated his time to help others, Cylk has been the spokesperson of the National MS Society. He has also served as a celebrity representative for the National Make-A-Wish Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, The Lupus Foundation of America, the National Tourette Syndrome Association, and The National Indian Council, to name a few.

He is founder of Hoops for Hope Basketball Charity Game, a non-profit star-studded event, and The Cylk Cozart Celebrity Classic All-Star Basketball Game, which benefits the Toni Stroman Fund.

In 2012, Cylk Cozart was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of the Urban League by his close friends, Martin Luther King, III, and academy award winner, Lou Gossett Jr.

On TUESDAY, Aug 27, we’ll discuss his accomplishments – and why he pushes so hard to bring joy to others. Join us at noon EASTERN.
