Web 3.0 appears to be apparent.  With the news of the Twitter API changes, much has been made ado about the coming wave of Web 3.0 concepts coming out of the shadows.  Medium...well, medium has a cool picture of polo players on their homepage.  App.net has got what I think is an awesome concept, the question is whether it is a viable model.  I think it is, and has the potential to be mega-huge.  I'll present my case for why on the show.  Branch and Svbtle are getting some link love.  The web has the tendency to change rapidly, sea changes can happen almost overnight, we saw this with the demise of MySpace and rise of Facebook.  Will it happen again?  Has Facebook jumped the shark?

Web 2.0 Social media companies are struggling to tighten the reigns, monetize and capture more ad revenue.  At the same time most marketers are starting to realize the ROI on social media marketing is not that grand, or at least not widely so.

So, is the world ready for another web revolution?
