Did Muhammad Exist?

As we face new threats from ISIS, yet another group of radical Islamists, we are searching for answers about and a deeper understanding of Islam, the Islamic states, and the caliphate. How did it all begin? Who was Islam's founding prophet?

New York Times bestselling author Robert Spencer provides the startling answers in Did Muhammad Exist? An Inquiry into Islam's Obscure Origins - just released in paperback.  Spencer offers a sober but unflinching look at the early days of one of the world's major religions.

Robert Spencer is the author of several widely acclaimed books about Islam, including the New York Times bestsellers The Truth about Muhammad and The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades). He is a columnist for FrontPage Magazine and the director of Jihad Watch, a program of the David Horowitz Freedom Center. Spencer holds a Master's degree in religious studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has been studying Islamic theology, law, and history in depth for more than three decades.

This is from our "Best Of" series.
