We experienced terrible injustice in the System. Now, we are left traumatized. What do we do with our rage? Many of us have discovered that expression of rage might be tagged as yet one more "mental illness." Oh no!

Whichever path we have found as the most productive means of expressing our anger, we didn't come upon this instantly. Our journeys are often wraught with hardship. What difficulties did you have? Did you lose relationships? Did you go through a self-destructive period, lose a job or become violent?

Some survivors have developed clever and creative ways to communicate the outrage at the wrongs that were done to us. One method is through our political or legal system, by communicating with lawmakers or the media. Other survivors create writing, art, or music. Some do amazing work with children, educating them to stay away from the System.
