Come Let Us Reason Together . . . about Prophecy

Tonight is Thursday, so that means we'll be discussing headlines as we view them through Scriptural prophecy.  There are a couple of things I want to mention.  I do have to mention something I discovered today regarding the so called "end of the recession" in June of 2009.  Now headlines are talking about a global recession.  I'm also going to bring up a rather charged issue regarding capital punishment in our nation.  If there is any claim to being a Christian nation, then where should we stand on capital punishment?  It seems our nation is getting more divided over all of our issues, and yet we continue to hear about unity.  Where are we going?  Will it take the beast of a government to provide everything that will bring us all together?   Are we flirting with this possibility more closely than we realize?
