Come Let Us Reason Together

It's Thursday night already and that means we will be discussing prophecy.  There is something that is really weighing heavy on me this evening that I simply have to talk about.  I've been very focused on Messiah's comment that we'd not know the day or the hour of his return.  This Rosh Hashanah really has shed some new understanding on his statement.  First, for the most part, Christians, the ones looking for the Second Coming don't celebrate the Feast of Trumpets.  Much of the world believes it is a Jewish holiday, rather than a Biblical holiday.  So the majority of those that do celebrate Feast of Trumpets, aren't expecting a Second Coming.  This year I was really nervous about actually observing Feast of Trumpets according to the way G-d instructs His people to observe the new month.  As it was upon me to make a stand and do it or not, I happened on to some very enlightening information.  The Hebrew calendar is "fixed" to coordinate Feast of Trumpets and Yom Kippur and prevent them being celebrated on certain days.
