Daytona Sailboat Racing - 20 September 2020 - Near Shore Race from Ponce Inlet

The next sailboat race on the Near Shore course is scheduled for Sunday, 20 September 2020. 

The boats will gather at the Ponce Inlet sea buoy for a Noon start. The will head northwest towards Racing's North Turn where they will pass a marker place 1000 feet from shore and head north to finish line.

All sailboats are visible from a variety of locations between Racing's North Turn and the Daytoan Beach Pier.

The 2020 edition of thes Commodore's Cup Offshore Sailboat Racing season, sponsored by the Halifax River Yacht Club, concludes on October 11th.

The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University sailing club competes in the Performance class, with a sailboat named "Lively."

There are two categories of sailboats in the competition, Performance and Cruising.
