Prof. Angus McLeod is a trained counsellor, coach and facilitator. Angus invented the internet-based ‘coaching’ service called ‘Ask Max.’ He designed the two current diploma courses in performance coaching for Newcastle College, attracting over 15,000 students. Angus has written several management books now in many languages. He designs and facilitates coaching programs for managers and his master-classes are widely delivered and enjoyed in many countries. He is committed to ethical, value-added service and measurement of effectiveness. Angus writes papers on coaching and leadership issues in the international press. Angus is a master-coach and facilitator of master-classes in coaching internationally. He can work, if required, to the top level of coaching best-practice, level 4. His special coaching qualities include making phenomenally-safe spaces in which people can make major changes having incredible flexibility to work with the specific needs of the individual and facilitating sustainable change at the highest level. He is regularly published in journals in the UK and USA. He has been ‘first-call’ coach at PPP Healthcare and Oracle. He has also coached at Board level in numerous corporations in several countries. Angus often coaches professional coaches. Angus is a regular facilitator of team programs for improved communication, coaching skills for managers, leadership executive development, vision & values – he is featured at international conferences and events, often as a keynote speaker. Angus designed the updated Performance Coaching Diploma Course at Newcastle. The course was also launched in a web-based format in March 2005. This course is the most successful web-based course available from Newcastle College. The Advanced Diploma Coaching Course, also designed by Angus, was launched in 2008.
