Stormy Wellington is a thirty-two year old powerhouse who was a millionaire before she was thirty. With the way her life began, no one expected success from this young woman. Stormy grew up what most would consider a rough upbringing living some of her time in foster homes while her mother was out trying to make it.

No matter what she faced, Stormy was still determined to excel in school. She ran track and cheerleading at high school football games, and at night while other children were doing their homework, Stormy was working different jobs so that her and her brothers could stay together.

Stormy became a teenage mom at the age of fourteen which caused her to have to grow up even faster than before. At the age of 18 Stormy became a mother again, and after discovering that small jobs were not going to cut it, she became an entrepreneur  Without a high school diploma (she’d dropped out of school when she became pregnant with her first child) Stormy opened three boutiques in Miami and ran them successfully until the economic downturn that came from 9/11. Finally, Stormy moved with her children to Atlanta, where she joined a network marketing program and within a year was a millionaire. She is now one of the top network marketing earners in the country.

Her memoir, The Quiet Storm came out in June, 2012 to critical acclaim. Her mission is to share her story to give hope to others. It is because of her life story, her tenacity and perseverance that Stormy Wellington is now considered one of the rising voices and one of the movers and shakers in the African American community.
