Former U.S. Marine, Tammie Davis, now an up and coming Nashville Recording Artist and songwriter from Lincolnton, N.C., served as a Marine musician and pianist while stationed at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia. Davis was featured as a vocalist, pianist and percussionist at concerts and events in the U.S. and abroad. After the Marines, Davis landed a spot with a well known Northern Virginia cover band called ‘Crossroads’. Davis continued to write songs and pursue music. In 2008, Doors began to open that had never opened before and in 2008, Davis met Nashville music producer, Tim Sidden. Davis, along with Sidden and Grammy Award nominee, Ben Harris recorded Davis’ first original songs. In 2009, Davis was nominated for the Carolina Music Awards Female Country Artist of the Year and won the Queen City Music Award for ‘Female Country Artist of the Year’. Davis’ songs have already hit the ‘Hot Country Music” charts in the U.S. and are being played overseas in numerous countries. Davis’ release, “Tall Dark & Lonesome”, has received attention from Nashville music promoters and is now being released to National Radio. For more information visit: www.TammieDavisMusic.com
