We bring to you gay & straight ally leaders from across the State and the world to keep you updated on important issues facing our community. This show is a celebration of our community and our supporters! Today on Maryland Gay Radio our guest is  Maryland Lt. Governor Anthony G. Brown share his views and answers your questions. The Lt. Governor was quick to accept our invitation to come on the show to share his view of Maryland's LGBT community and the upcoming fight for Marriage Equality. Lt. Governor Brown has dedicated his professional life to public service. Elected alongside Governor Martin O’Malley in 2006 and reelected in 2010, Lt. Governor Brown leads the O’Malley-Brown administration’s work to expand and improve health care, support economic development, help victims of domestic violence, increase access to higher education, and provide Veterans with better services and resources.

Prior to serving as Lt. Governor, Anthony Brown represented Prince George’s County for two terms in the Maryland House of Delegates, rising quickly to the position of Majority Whip. A Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves, Anthony Brown is the nation’s highest-ranking elected official to have served a tour of duty in Iraq.

He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School and the proud father of two children – Rebecca (16) and Jonathan (11). He lives in Prince George’s County.
