Zmblnd was to take place a few weeks ago and promised to be a 5k obstacle race which also included racers being chased by Zombies. What happened instead was a disaster of epic proportions. I interviewed the race director to find out what went wrong.

Run For Your Lives, on the other hand, appears to be the leader in the “undead runs”. Their reviews have mostly been stellar, but Hurricane Sandy caused them to cancel a recent event. Let’s talk with them about the results of that and what they and other races can do moving forward when it comes to “acts of God”. Oh, yeah and we’ll talk some about Zombies.

Rock On Adventures has been putting on obstacle races and other solid events for a little while now. They are more open to feedback and more interactive with their racers than any race/organization that I have seen. I am excited to talk to ROA Preisdent Jonny Simpkins to learn more about his races and how soon he will have one closer to where I live.
