When Former SC Governor Mark Sanford mentioned challenger Curtis Bostic’s dismal attendance record as a member of the Charleston County Council at last night’s GOP Primary Runoff debate, Bostic said he took all that time off to care for his wife who was “dying of cancer.”

I guess he figured no one would check.  Not only was she not dying, she’s quite hale and hearty.

Of the 11 meetings he missed, 9 were skipped when he was out of the country, out of state or out of town.

And what kind of man, knowing that a pregnancy could reignite the cancer that had been under control would continue to have unprotected sex with his wife, risking her life with a new pregnancy?

Curt Bostic, that’s who.

Listen, as we discuss last night’s debate, Bostic’s actual record, and his work with the Christian World Adoption Agency which blamed a California couple for the fact they received a child with multiple difficulties, and not the healthy child they were promised.
