The Lead Change Group is a community of people applying character-based leadership to make a positive difference. Each week we'll meet a new member of the community and learn about their background, their connection to the group and what character-based leadership means to them. We'll also learn how we can connect with each other better and help one another make a positive difference. Our guest will be Phil Gerbyshak, (http://www.philgerbyshak.com). He helps organizations (primarily Information Technology organizations) increase employee & customer engagement. I help them understand it’s really not about the tools; it’s all about the conversations they participate in and the connections they create and cultivate. Phil has worked in IT for the past 15 years, and has focused his efforts on understanding and leveraging the social media space for over 5 years. His work building relationships using blogs was spotlighted in the 2005 book What Nobody Ever Tells You About Blogging and Podcasting: Real Life Advice from 101 People Who Successfully Leverage the Power of the Blogosphere.
