David W. Williams has been scrutinizing the storylines in movies since he was a child. By the time he graduated from high school where a television production class first introduced him to shooting and editing he was thoroughly hooked on working behind the camera. In fact, that class set the stage for David to later pursue the craft that has captivated his interest for more than 20 years. His journey on the road to making movies for a living is marked by his dedication to honing his production skills over the years. David’s resume includes live television broadcasting experience, as well as PSAs, commercials and documentaries. His first-ever documentary, created early on in his career, gave viewers an inside look at Orlando's burgeoning underground radio scene. After earning a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida in business administration, David founded X Ray Vision Media so he could pursue his passion full time. His first project under the X Ray Vision Media banner was "Gamelord," a short feature film that explores class roles in society. He strives to produce movies that unfold in an unconventional fashion and his creations are fueled by a desire to Entertain, Educate and Inform. In the spring of 2011, David wrapped production on “The Bay” a performance documentary featuring the spoken word poetry community of Tampa Bay, FL. David is currently in pre-production for his next feature film tentative titled “Coon City” which will be a satire of the commercial rap industry.
