They overcame by the word of their testimony. *** This program is designed for women and girls that have been sexually abused to help prevent them from experiencing revictimization. Revictimization is when someone experiences more sexual abuse at different times in different situations. This is often too difficult to talk about. But avoidance tends to make things worse. This program is intended to provide an empathetic ear as well as spiritual guidance and support. Hopefully true healing can begin when there is the opportunity to disclose what has remained buried inside. Whoever has the ear, hear what the Spirit says unto the churches.

This program culminates promoting April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. It will focus on Giving Voice to Victims, Support for Survivors and Recovery from Revictimization. Each broadcast features: 1)updates about sexual abuse, giving voice to victims and celebrating survivors 2) news about resources and support to help walk the path of recovery from sexual abuse 3) reports about legal matters and advocacy to monitor the progress towards effecting change in how we address sexual assault and child sexual abuse. You may want to help spread awareness about the alarming statistics concerning rape and child molestation. You might want encouragement to share your own personal testimony. Or you may know of a resource that helps victims of rape and child molestation; or you know something about what's being done or could be done to stop sexual abuse; or you just might want to show that you care. Whatever your concern with rape and sexual assault, My Tell to Tell is your time to learn and to be heard. Join the fight against child sexual abuse and rape.
