Tune in as Author of A Nation of Flaws and Activist Anita Wills discuss Wrongful Convictions and the Injustice System in California. Kalif Broder and the Central Park Five (When They See Us) are names familiar to those of us who followed their stories.  As the mother of a son, Kerry Baxter Senior who was Wrongfully Convicted and is in Prison in California, Ms. Wills has become an Activist fighting against an out of Control System that targets black and brown people.  The internment Camps holding women and children is not a new phenomenon. They were young men of color unjustly imprisoned by a System that does not value black and brown people. In the same courts where people of color are taken from their families and communities whites can get bail for murder rape and other crimes. Those rights are not afforded to black and brown people and when we stand up and fight back they change their tactics but not the system. Join us for a conversation and sharing of solutions to a System that has been in place since Slavery. It is not a Rehabilation System it is a System of enslavement using the Prison System as a Plantation.
